Unreal TournamentWhile I will always have fond memories of the first UT, I have to take the unpopular road and say UT2003 (before nerfing) hands down. Stacking health, stacking shields, lightning fast weapon switch, boostdodges, insane shield jumping, trick jumping out the ass, easy to damage xlocs so you could hit it in the air with the LTG and get telefrags. Oh and telefragging that actually worked if you could aim. The thing I miss most is the awesome amount of tricking you could do. Anyone remember the tricks you could do back when the speed of your player didn't cancel when you translocated? Oh the tricks you could pull of with that. Like throwing your xloc on the flag, then immidiately stepping on a jump pad and translocating, you would come out right on the flag and because your velocity didn't cancel you'd go flying up in the air with the flag like a jack in the box. Defending against that was so much fun, never a safe moment hehe. Because the speed didn't cancel it also made it much harder to do xloc climbing, if your timing wasnt good you'd just go splat. Also miss the dodge speed cancel, like you could do from say facing worlds, jump of and time a dodge against the side of the tower right before you hit the ground, the shit you could do with that was great. I used to practice shild dodge bosting from citadel and landing against the side of one of the bridge pillars, time it right and no damage. Then came the nerfing, and slowly... ut died.
