I just stumbled over the sitcom show starring Louis C.K called "Louie" because I love Louis C.K and was trying to find more standup by him.

Please note, this is NOT the older "Lucky Louie" show, but the new show, just called Louie.

It started out as one of these very strange shows where you're not sure if it's good or not, but then all of a sudden it's over 45 mins has passed and time just stood still, like a lot of Woody Allen stuff for example.

Do yourself a favor and give it a try, it's absolutely brilliant, showing life as fucked up as it can be, dysfunctional family and screwed up romantic relationships, and extremely funny to boot.

It's been a long long time since I flat out laughed my ass off, most "funny" shows gets me a chuckle here and there, but the brutal honesty of this show just nails it for me.

The 4400 - Awesome older scifi series

Wow, just downloaded the pilot for this show. It's fucking great if the pilot is anything to judge by

A bunch of people disappear at random taken from different time periods. Then one day out of the blue a comet changes it's trajectory and heads towards earth. Much panic ensues but it turns out to be some alien lifeform. It dumps 4400 people on a beach and disappears.

The people are detained for a while but they are eventually let go and find out what happened to the world and their families. Slowly these people all turn out to have been given different powers.

The storytelling, music and cinematography is awesome, go watch the pilot and you'l see what I mean.
