How to complete a badge in spore the easy way

It's not exactly obvious how to complete a badge in spore, but the easy way is to hit your L key to open the tasks window.

Once open, click on badges, now just click on a badge and notice it's not highlighted.

Go back to spore and you will now have a mission card like any other mission in spore showing you how many things you need to do to get the badge complete the easy way.
